Monthly Bokura Magazine

This week my feature is on Monthly Bokura Magazine. Monthly Bokura Magazine was a magazine published by Kodansha starting in 1954 and ran until 1969. where it ultimately ceased publication. Most of the popular series in the magazine were switched over to it's new weekly counter part until it ceased publication in 1971. The magazine had a host of various Ultraman manga series as well as being the original home to the manga Tiger Mask. Stay tuned for next week's exciting new feature!!!!!!

Introductions

Hi I'm Chris and I've decided to start this blog dedicated to vintage manga. Why? you might ask well I've been looking around for not just a blog but even websites dedicated to vintage manga, and I haven't found anything just random blog posts about the occasional old book or magazine. So i thought "why not?" so every week I'm gonna post Something about either a manga I have or a manga I've found from about 1940 to late 80s early 90s. So I'll leave you guys with one of my favorite videos that explains the history of Weekly Shonen Magazine and it's rivalry with Weekly Shonen Sunday from the NHK world show Imagine-nation.
